Balkaran Singh
BSc/BCom
(he/him)
Balkaran is an ardent believer of systemic change through persistent work, and he has committed his efforts to incremental and radical change by means of service, organization and art.
Besides his experience in non-profit and government work, he has managed cultural navigation and funding acquisition for progressive community projects for universities, businesses, NGOs and unions. He comes with two decades worth of experience in, not only, strategy management, planning, engagement, facilitation, communications and qualitative evaluation, but also, in service process-assessment and -resolution.
Having lived in three different continents and being a South Asian settler on Coast Salish lands, he brings a unique perspective to decolonizing and levelling work with extra-governmental systems - for more than a decade, he has worked with different South Asian communities in varied contexts and has a keen understanding of underlying complexities and dynamics.
